With this new rubber we have been able to improve the weaknesses of the first production batch, which we are now marketing as a 1b version of Leviathan.
The grip has been improved and the tension reduced, making Leviathan 1a noticeably more grippy than the 1b version. The durability has also improved slightly, although still average.
Unfortunately, Leviathan is only available in black, as production issues prevented a red version.
The difference between Leviathan 1b, Doorn Glans and Leviathan is minimal for less experienced players, both visually and in performance.
Leviathan offers strong blocking performance, but is slightly more controllable and versatile than comparable pimple rubbers. It retains the recognizable feel of the thorn shine, but is optimized for plastic balls.
Leviathan plays well with a variety of woods and is a versatile choice for players seeking control and performance.
