Vega Tour is the only rubber in the Vega series that comes with the Elasto Futura and Cycloid technology, known from the popular Omega VII rubber. The feeling of a very thick sponge combined with a thinner topsheet is very unique in the Vega series.
Vega Tour has a softer feel overall because of the medium hard 45° sponge and thin topsheet that supports the softer sponge feeling on ball contact. There is always some dwell time and great acoustic feedback that gives the player a feedback and good feeling during the game.
Elasto Futura and Cycloid give the player many possibilities to accelerate the ball with a lot of power. The rubber reacts very springy and fast, which is great for the new plastic ball. The general focus shifts from only spin based play to also focusing on the speed. It is easy for the player to generate speed at any time.
The arc and throw are quite low, which makes this rubber great for aggressive shots and flat hits that put the opponent under high pressure. At the same time, the rubber is not very sensitive to incoming spin, which makes it more forgiving when misjudging the opponent's spin.
