For offensive and powerful all-around players. Fast, lightweight, and with excellent control. Made with 5 layers of ayous (core veneer, 3.5mm), ayous (2+4), and black Fineline (1+5, outer veneer).
The frames in the Donic Epox series are not glued with liquid glue, but with a self-adhesive epoxy resin film. During the gluing process, the veneers are pressed together and heated for 20 minutes. This liquefies the epoxy film and firmly bonds the veneers together. The middle veneer and the intermediate veneers are made of mono-veneer sheets. Only one piece of veneer is used in this mono-veneer technique. Other traditional techniques often use multiple pieces joined together. This means that only one frame is made from each pressed sheet. This results in the production of high-quality, unique frames. The unique method of gluing the veneers of the Epox frames with epoxy resin gives them a special level of rigidity. Depending on the veneer composition, this leads to improved dynamics or excellent control, while preventing unpleasant vibrations. The edges at the transition between the grip and the blade surface are carefully rounded. This makes the frames in the Epox series incredibly comfortable to hold and very easy to handle.
All Donic Epox frames feature Fineline wood edge protection and are manufactured using Fineline technology. They not only look good, but also feature 360° edge protection. Thanks to their thin outer veneers, these frames are also very lightweight.
