Sauer & Tröger: special rubbers and blades
Sauer & Tröger, or S&T for short, is a German brand. At Spaendonck Sport, the focus is on pips rubbers and anti-spin rubbers, combined with a small selection of blades. The products are available in the store under the abbreviation S&T.
What do you think of S&T at Spaendonck Sport?
- Rubbers with long pips: Monkey, Monkey Special, Schmerz, Easy P, Hellfire and Hellfire X.
- Short pips: Hass and Zargus. Medium pips: Hipster.
- Anti-spin: Super Stop. We also offer the Secret Flow Chop rubber.
- Blades: Unicorn, Zeus and Dominate as ALL, and the Kasalla as OFF.
How do you choose within the S&T range?
The name of the rubber indicates whether it has long, medium or short pips. Long pips are for defensive players and players who like to return the ball with spin. Short pips are for fast, flat play close to the table. Anti-spin rubbers are designed to neutralize the opponent's spin.
For blades, it works like this: the Unicorn, Zeus and Dominate are ALL blades and offer a lot of control, making them a logical choice for a pips rubber. The Kasalla is an OFF blade for faster play. If you combine a pips rubber with a different rubber on the other side, the choice becomes even more personal.
