The SpinLord Gipfelsturm is a revolutionary pimple rubber with longer pimples than most long pimple rubbers, but it plays almost like a normal short pimple rubber, with the advantage that it is just as dangerous as medium long pimple rubbers. The unique shape of the pimples makes this possible. They are very long (1.65 mm) and wide (1.98 mm at the tip), with a cone shape and ribbed tops.
Although the rubber and sponge are medium hard, Gipfelsturm has a soft touch. The rubber is elastic and the pimples can even wobble, especially when playing blocking balls close to the table. Gipfelsturm is very suitable for playing with spin, flipping, topspins, blocking balls and counterattacks.
